Although it was only officially released in 1997, the demo 'Seventh Day of Doom' was recorded by TORMENTOR ten years earlier.
Led by the legendary singer Attila Csihar, the Hungarian band immediately had a rawer and more unhealthy sound than that of primitive heavy metal bands from Eastern Europe at the dawn of the 90s. TORMENTOR shows manifest aggression: riffs run wild, drums are as fast as a locomotive speeding towards the gates of hell, and Attila seems to spit burning bile.
From this recording, we already understand why TORMENTOR is a pillar of the second wave of black metal.
