To serve his colorful touch in this recording dedicated to the music of Franz Liszt, Titien Collard chose the Opus 102 model by Stephen Paulello, a piano known for its complexity, which he was able to tame immediately before exploring and ultimately discovering its orchestral character, its countless expressive qualities, its infinite palette of colors, and its ability to transform. Titien Collard comes from a family of musicians. One immediately thinks of Jean-Philippe, his uncle. He has had the opportunity to deepen his work and musical reflection with unique personalities: Henri Barda, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Abdel Rahman El Bacha, Vincent Coq, Tuija Hakkila, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, the Ysaÿe Quartet… Holding a Master of Concert and a Master in Instrumental Pedagogy, he teaches piano at the conservatory of Fribourg.
