Hot Dreams

Description

“Hot Dreams” is the highly anticipated follow-up to “Creep On Creepin’ On”. The album took shape throughout 2013. Longtime collaborator Simon Trottier joined Taylor Kirk to produce and direct this new album. Starting from ideas born during Kirk’s stay in Laurel Canyon, he and Trottier arranged the new songs at the Banff Centre in Banff, Alberta. Recorded by Graham Lessard at the Banff Centre and at Hotel 2 Tango in Montreal and mixed by Mark Lawson, “Hot Dreams” is marked by the return of Mika Posen to the string arrangements. Also featured are Olivier Fairfield on drums, Mathieu Charbonneau on keyboards, and Colin Stetson’s inimitable saxophone playing.
