The album unfolds like a dark night, carried away by "Piros kocsi, fekete éj," a dreamy and haunting opening track. "Run with me, life / Whisper the tales," sings Attila Bakos in Hungarian. His clear voice rises and soars again, 15 years after his participation in 'Róka Hasa Radió,' the breakthrough album.||Other old friends join Katai on this journey. "A gyonyoru almok ezutan jonnek" brings together more than 20 musicians, including familiar faces from the Hungarian metal scene and beyond. While violin, cello, and clarinet add a touch of refinement, the road can be chaotic. "Mindenevo" is consumed by humanity's self-destructive appetite, fueled by blast beats and distorted downpicking that recall the fiery black metal from which THY CATAFALQUE was originally forged in 1998.||Hungarian history looms behind the most crushing moments of the album. The track "Vasgyar," black as coal, is named after the steelworks that once fueled the country's economy. In the music video for the album's title track, Katai traverses not only his hometown but also surreal scenes of past and present issues that lie beneath the surface of the countryside. But his taste for the avant-garde remains as strong as ever: the minor-key keyboard melody shines with the fragile yet familiar assurance that beautiful dreams are still to come.
