Autograph is a new collection of box sets, coming from the catalogs of EMI, ERATO, and TELDEC. Each box set is dedicated to an artist and provides a biographical overview through a number of thematic CDs. The content of each box set is personally selected by the artist themselves, and it also includes a recent interview. On the occasion of his 60th anniversary, Thomas Hampson is undoubtedly the greatest baritone since the retirement of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. Like his illustrious predecessor, he has sung and recorded in all styles - opera, operetta, lied, melody, musical theater - all eras and all languages - Mozart, Verdi, Wagner, Gounod... with the same joy, as his powerful and clear voice, his exceptional technique, and his magnetic presence.
