Led by frontman Joey Quinones from East Los Angeles, Thee Sinseers have quietly tackled R&B and soul sounds over the past five years. This time, the band has managed to take a series of bold turns and emerge more confident in its identity. Despite these new advancements, the group remains fully committed to its sonic aesthetic while injecting its own signature style. Of course, the band has never shied away from its influences, skillfully oscillating between 60s pop, early Beatles records, and obscure Jamaican dancehall tunes, all fully extrapolated and reinterpreted through the modern sound of chicano soul, on which the band has built its enduring repertoire. This melting pot of ideas is highlighted by incredibly lush orchestrations and arrangements, paired with perfect harmonies, allowing the band to further solidify its place in the pantheon of Southern California standards.
