The Wave Quartet

Loco/musique pour marimba et percussion

Description

From the lightest drip to the bubbling of a waterfall, The Wave Quartet unleashes the sonic fervor of four imposing marimbas, to pay tribute to the great reformer of tango, Astor Piazzolla, to make the great lord of tango Carlos Gardel sing, and to let us breathe the air of the great Mexican peaks with Rodrigo y Gabriela... In short: the four award-winning musicians (Christoph Sietzen was one of the winners of the ARD Competition in 2014) make the mallets fly on their new CD released on GENUIN, to the point that one cannot resist the urge to dance!... As the Spanish would say: “loco – crazy!”
