THE THE has always been Matt Johnson. Founded in 1979, the quartet has released numerous unique, intoxicating, and visionary songs. It was not until 1986 that THE THE was revealed to the general public with its second album Infected. After various solo projects over the past 20 years, Matt Johnson returned in 2018 with THE THE during a triumphant UK/US tour and a concert titled "The Comeback Special" at the Royal Albert Hall in London. This performance is now available on a new live album, to delight all the band's fans.
