Reissue of the soundtrack to the excellent film shot in 1984 by Jonathan Demme to mark its DVD release, this CD offers seven bonus tracks compared with the original. It thus gives us the complete set of tracks played live in the film, where the band grows as it goes along: David Byrne is first alone for an anthological acoustic Psycho Killer, then joined by Tina Weymouth (bass), Chris Frantz (drums), Jerry Harrison (guitar and keyboards), and finally by a whole host of additional musicians and backing vocalists, among them ex-Funkadelic member Bernie Worrell, with the music becoming increasingly funky and the concert ending with a scorching Crosseyed And Painless. Excellent.
