The Stripp is a high-energy rock'n'roll machine that has taken the underground rock scene in Melbourne (Australia) by storm.
Led by Bek Taylor, who could be described as the adopted child of Joan Jett and Lemmy Kilmister, the band's unique style, captivating performances, and numerous tours have earned it a reputation as one of the best high-energy rock'n'roll bands Down Under.
With three vinyl releases to their credit, including a split 7" with New Jersey action rock veterans Electric Frankenstein, released in 2021, The Stripp returned to the studio in 2022 to release their first full album, Ain't no crime to rock 'n' roll, which immediately drew attention to the band in Australia and around the world.
Born from the combined love of Jason Zeke and Bek Taylor for raw rock n roll and their passion for music, The Stripp united with like-minded musicians, Matt Brown on bass and Andy Cass on drums, thus completing their energetic and dynamic rock style.
The year 2023 brings new momentum to The Stripp with new shows in Australia and a European tour in preparation, as well as concerts already scheduled opening for The Supersuckers, Stiff Richards, and The Neptune Power Federation.
In the coming years, The Stripp plans to embark on many national and international tours with the aim of carving out a place in the expanding rock n roll subculture.
