THE SPEAKER WARS, an American rock band formed by Stan Lynch and Jon Christopher Davis, brings a unique blend of rock, country, and gospel influences to their self-titled debut album, the result of a long-standing collaboration. Stan Lynch, founding member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and drummer of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has brought his talents as a songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, drawing on his work with Don Henley, Ringo Starr, The Byrds, and many others. Lynch produced, designed, and mixed the album, bringing to the mix his skills in guitar, keyboard, bass, and vocals. Jon Christopher Davis, a seasoned singer-songwriter from Dallas, honed his craft in Nashville, writing songs for icons like Dolly Parton, Timothy B. Schmit, and Vince Gill. Davis, known for his soulful voice, leads the band and adds layers of guitar, bass, and keyboard to their distinct sound. The band's live lineup includes Lynch on drums, Davis on guitar, and additional musicians Jay Brown, Brian Patterson, Steve Ritter, and Jay Michael Smith, creating a dynamic stage presence.
