To celebrate their 40th anniversary, the Rolling Stones embarked on a major world tour in 2002 and 2003 called the "Licks World Tour," performing in gigantic arenas and stadiums. But they also gave a handful of intimate concerts, like this Monday, November 4, 2002, in Los Angeles at the Wiltern Theatre, a 1930s Art Deco masterpiece. In the intimacy of this packed small venue, they offered fans their greatest hits as well as many rarities, including "Stray Cat Blues," "No Expectations," and a fiery cover of "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" with the legendary Solomon Burke, who opened for them that night.
