It is alongside The Damned, The Pogues, and The Clash that they perform for the first time on stage during the second edition of the Mont-de-Marsan punk festival in 1977. Rather brutal in its early days, Police's rock will gradually take on elements of reggae and pop. After the success of "Outlandos d'Amour" in 1978, the band strikes again and releases the album that will make these musicians the stars we know today.
