Description

During their first world tour in 1979 and 1980, The Police would travel across six continents and experience a meteoric rise. Through concert excerpts and intimate filmed moments, "The Police: Around The World" recounts this pivotal moment in their career. We see Sting, Andy Summers, and Stewart Copeland exploring Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, India, Egypt, Greece, France, South America, and the United States. The band performs on stage, visits landmarks, tastes local cuisines, and develops an intimate connection with a global fan base. The film is presented for the first time on DVD and Blu-ray, featuring restored visuals and remastered sound, along with four fully filmed songs. The LP and CD compile completely unreleased live versions of 11 tracks recorded in Japan, Hong Kong, and England.
