The Pineapple Thief, the flagship band of European experimental rock, is releasing their new album. Over the last decade, The Pineapple Thief - led by Bruce Soord and supported by master drummer Gavin Harrison - has quickly risen to the top ranks of the European alternative rock scene. "Versions Of The Truth" is their latest step towards success. Their previous album "Dissolution" was acclaimed worldwide. It allowed them to reach their highest positions in the charts to date and led to two major tours in Europe (including a headlining concert at the prestigious O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London) and a tour in North America. With the release of their new album, the band is ready to once again raise their exceptional standards, having produced what could be one of the most important albums of 2020. "Versions Of The Truth" represents a conceptual progression from "Dissolution" (a contemplation on our "post-truth" world) and addresses similar themes, but from a more personal perspective. Reflecting on how there can be more than one "version of the truth," the songs on the album revolve around the impact that the media can have on our lives and those we love.
