Description

The Pale Fountains était un groupe anglais formé à Liverpool en 1980 et composé de Mick Head, Chris McCaffery, Thomas Whelan, Andy Diagram et Ken Moss. Inspiré par la musique des années 1960, notamment Love, Burt Bacharach et les Beatles, le groupe a sorti son premier single « (There's Always) Something on My Mind » en octobre 1982. Bien que les Pale Fountains n'aient pas connu de succès commercial significatif, le groupe a été salué par la critique pour ses deux albums sortis chez Virgin : « Pacific Street » (1984) et « ...From Across the Kitchen Table » (1985).
