Phanerozoic i: palaezoic

The Ocean Collective announces their grand return in two parts, after four years of absence during which they have continued to create and travel the globe. In November, "Phanaerozoic I: Palaerozoic" will be released, followed by "Phanerozoic" on the horizon of 2020. Since 2001 and after 5 years of touring with Opeth, Mastodon, Anathema, punctuated by appearances at major festivals such as Dour, Pukkelpop, Roskilde, the Berlin-based band has released seven critically acclaimed studio albums as well as a split EP with post-rock legend Mono. The collective is recording their 8th studio album in February 2018. Their lyrics greatly deal with the evolution of fauna and flora from five hundred million years ago to the present day. "Phanerozoic" complements the albums "Precambrian," "Heliocentric," and "Anthropocentric."
