Born Again

Description

His first album, Ready To Die, simply changed the face of hip hop. In 1997, the second, Life After Death, won the title of R&B Album of the Year. Unfortunately, Notorious had just been murdered shortly before. Hip-hop fans were afraid of a new posthumous B.I.G. album. Rest assured: this record is a bomb. The whole American rap elite lays down its rhymes throughout these 18 tracks, thus paying tribute to the memory of the M.C. who was taken too soon. The features are countless (from members of Biggie’s “Family,” Lil' Kim, Lil' Cease and Puff Daddy to the more surprising ones: Snoop and Ice Cube); all the rappers on this record show their respect for Biggie’s memory and honor one of their own.
