In January 2010, Divanity was released on Frontiers, the first album by the Swedes of The Murder Of My Sweet. In May 2012, the band returned for a second album: Bye Bye Lullaby, released on AFM Records. They are now back with the Neapolitan label and continue on their momentum with a metal album tinged with neo-gothic influences, with a modern production and a very American sound. The electro touches allow the band to stand out from other somewhat similar acts (Evanescence, Kryptera, etc.). Led by a conquering Daniel Flores and an Angelica Rylin who is still very glamorous, the band offers an enticing and Cinemascope-like musical recipe, with symphonic gallops, “voice over”, and even a children’s choir. This opus appears darker and more “heavy” than the previous ones, and the adventurous and boundless musical side sometimes recalls the lyrical flights of Queen, E.L.O. or even Genesis.
