After reissuing Les Demerle's first album in 2021, Groove-Diggers continues its momentum with this reissue of Transcendental Watusi, the first album he released under his name Les Demerle Transfusion in 1979. Across these six tracks, the drummer delivers his signature Jazz-funk style. The clean and intimate sound of the album is once again due to its live recording at Howard Rumsey's Concerts By The Sea in Redondo Beach, California — the same iconic jazz club that hosted the previous year's live album. P-vine is delighted to produce this first official reissue on its Groove-Diggers label with a limited edition LP pressing and an iconic Japanese obi strip.
