The group The Georgia Prophets, formed in 1965 in Augusta (Georgia), released their only album Fever in 1968, featuring the legendary track "I Got The Fever," which became a classic of the Northern Soul scene in the UK and Beach Music in the United States. The album, a mix of new songs and earlier recordings, marks the end of the group.
