Bloodbrothers

"Bloodbrothers" is the third album by these New York punk rockers. Bruce Springsteen, as a fan of the band, makes an appearance on the opening track "Faster And Louder" (Bruce counts the band in for the last chorus), which is a perfect song and the embodiment of what made rock and roll great. Although The Dictators' music is rooted in punk, they approach it with humor and a heavy mix of catchy rock. The guitars on 'Bloodbrothers' feature some of the best heavy rock from Ross "The Boss" Friedman and Scott "Top Ten" Kempner. Overall, it is by far the band's most straightforward album and the one that sounds most authentically like The Dictators. If you want to call it punk, then it might be the best punk album ever made.
