The debut album by The Crystal Teardrop, *THE CRYSTAL TEARDROP IS FORMING*, was released in May 2025 on Popclaw, a sub-label of Rise Above Records. Infused with classic guitar-driven psychedelic pop and the spirit of the "Paisley Underground" scene — not to mention the broader cultural aesthetic of the 60s — the band quickly won over audiences in the UK and Europe. Barely a year later, here comes its equally catchy successor, *LOVE YOU MORE*, also released on Popclaw. While the songs on *LOVE YOU MORE* are fundamentally upbeat, they also exhibit a certain roughness, both musically (listen to the guitar solo on "It’s Too Late!") and lyrically. The lyrics tackle relationships, politics, and life itself, culminating in the lengthy psychedelic improvisation of "Touch The Sun," a track that, according to Alexandra, "questions the meaning of human existence." Notably in 2026, *LOVE YOU MORE* was recorded live in the studio, aiming to capture an authentic atmosphere and minimize overdubs. "Like our first album, we used 60s instruments — Rickenbacker, Vox, Hammond organ, AC15 amps — as well as period production techniques; but this time, we experimented with other instruments, like the tanpura and swarmandal, fueled by our love for Eastern sounds and raga rock," she explains.
