The garage punk band The Cramps returned in 1994 with their sixth studio album Flamejob. The wild vocals of Lux Interior and the unsettling guitar work of Poison Ivy mark one of their most energetic performances in a long time. The entire album revolves around themes of sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll. Most of the tracks are just under 3 minutes long, and the album features several covers. The most famous of these is "Route 66," which is infused with the signature sound of The Cramps.
