Sandinista
Description
Orphaned by Syd Vicious and his Sex Pistols, Punk found its new standard-bearer in The Clash. Sandinista! had the heavy task of following the incendiary London Calling. The result is a triple album for which the band was given carte blanche and which aims to be a raw snapshot of what the Clash are in all their extravagance and musical journey. The result is a lush, exploratory and eclectic work, from which emerge monuments such as Rebel Waltz, Magnificent Seven, Police on my Back or Lightning Strike. - ("excerpt from the Fnac Ideal Record Collection guide")Buy Sandinista at the best price
