Two years after the EP Frontier's Edge, The Budos Band returns with VII, their first full-length album since Long in the Tooth (2020). True to their style, they deliver eleven hypnotic tracks, driven by powerful brass and enchanting grooves, balancing mystery and rhythm. Produced by guitarist Tom Brenneck and mixed by Simon Guzmán, the album was recorded in California and marks the group's first release on the independent label Diamond West, founded in 2023 by Tankel and Brenneck. It also includes contributions from Rich Tarrana (percussion, ex-Frightnrs). VII opens new sonic spaces while remaining faithful to the unique musicality that has made The Budos Band so successful.
