Some may say that the project took several tumultuous years, but we assert that it arrives just at the right time. Whether called brotherly love or musical destiny that brought them together, this highly anticipated record marking the reunion of this legendary band could very well be the one that saves rock & roll. At a time when this art form is buried under the corporate shine of its successors, the Black Crowes strike back with the anguish of unspoken words written on paper and electrified by guitar strings, revealing a stripped-down and raw rock & roll. No shine, no glitter, just rhythm and blues at its best – gritty, loud, and in your face. Since the Black Crowes reunited in 2019, they have made a triumphant return with over 150 concerts in 20 countries around the world, celebrating the 30th anniversary of "Shake Your Money Maker," the album that put them on the map. Upon returning from the road, they knew they needed something new to show for lost time. The Robinson Brothers and longtime bassist Sven Pipien went into the studio with producer Jay Joyce in early 2023, and the experiences of the past years were transcribed through the music as the band found their way back to their roots. And it's finally here!
