Clear lake forest

Description

The Black Angels are reissuing Clear Lake Forest: a 7-track EP originally released as a limited-edition 10" LP for Record Store Day, now seeing wider distribution via Blue Horizon on vinyl and CD. Formed in Austin, Texas in 2004, The Black Angels embody a musical revival known as neo-psychedelia. Direct heirs to the famous The 13th Floor Elevators, fellow Texans and psychedelic innovators, The Black Angels in turn have extended their mesmerizing alchemy across the albums Passover (2006), Directions To See a Ghost (2008), and Phosphene Dream (2010). The Black Angels sprinkled their psychedelic rock with pop choruses on Indigo Meadow in 2013.
