Ghetto : misfortune's wealth
Description
Reissue In 1973, the collective 24 Carat Black, founded by musician and producer Dale Warren, who was responsible for the string arrangement on Isaac Hayes’ Walk on By, and bringing together a host of musicians, released its first album, Ghetto, Misfortune's Wealth. The album is dedicated to Black people and, as its name suggests, focuses on denouncing the living conditions of Black people in the ghettos of major cities. The album was not an immediate success, and it would take until the 1990s and samples by Naughty By Nature and RZA for 24 Carat Black to enter Soul music history.Buy Ghetto : misfortune's wealth at the best price
