THE NEW JEWEL FROM THE MASTERS OF PROGRESSIVE MATH METAL TesseracT is a unique, genre-defying band, pioneering an ever-evolving Metal scene. Its strength is irresistible with its off-kilter riffs, soaring melodies, and disorienting atmospheres. 'Sonder', the band's fourth work, marks a significant step forward, blending the harsh abrasiveness of 'One' (2011), the progressive ethereal elements of 'Altered State' (2013), and the accessibility of 'Polaris' (2015). Sonder is streamlined, with TesseracT's signature touch: dreamy atmospheres and stunning grooves. 'Sonder' was recorded in the UK at 4D Sounds, Celestial Sounds, and Project Studios, with Aiden O'Brien, and was mastered by Acle Kahney; the artwork was created by Amos Williams.Sonder will be released on CD / 2CD – with a bonus binaural disc for audiophiles. TesseracT has indeed produced a binaural version which is a 360° listening experience designed by Klang: Fabrik for headphone listening. Amos Williams explains: "the concept is to go beyond the restrictions of a stereo headphone mix and create a precise 3D space where off-axis positioning beyond the normal left-right can occur. This is something every artist who uses in-ear monitors on stage wants to recreate: the real, precise positioning of instruments. We immediately thought this technology could be useful to us in the studio."
