Quand on s'aime

Description

From De l'amour c'est comme un jour by Charles Aznavour to Quand on s'aime by Michel Legrand, from La belle vie by Sacha Distel to Black Trombone by Serge Gainsbourg, from Que reste-t-il de nos amours ? by Charles Trenet to the unreleased Chagrin d'amour by Claude Nougaro, from Petite fleur to Docteur (fever), the swing and the uncompromising vocal timbre of Térez Montcalm revisit the essential classics of French jazz chanson. The tracks flow one after another without technique ever taking precedence over emotion! The Québécoise Térez Montcalm declares, “I love mainstream jazz. I need everyone to be able to sing along with me, across all generations.” With Quand on s'aime, her 8th album, she proves in 13 tracks that the French language has never swung so much and takes us on a musical and cinematic journey that strongly resembles a best-of of French jazz!
