The English band Teleman are back with a second album, the surprising Briliant Sanity. After their first album Breakfast, recorded as a trio, Thomas and Johnny Sanders (guitar and keyboards) as well as Pete Cattermoul (bass) enlisted the services of Hiro Amamiya (drums) to complete the lineup. The new songs by the former Pete and the Pirates were written in their Homerton studio and recorded in south London with producer Dan Carey (Bat For Lashes, Kate Tempest, Nick Mulvey), who helped shape the aesthetic of this album, made in a truly live and spontaneous spirit. The album allows Thomas to show the full extent of his talents as a lyricist, and his passion for the musicality of words. Sanders also explains that for each song the band immersed themselves in a different atmosphere using colored lights and breaks on the studio roof to watch the moon, in order to best convey the range of moods present on Brilliant Sanity. The singles ‘Dusseldorf’ and ‘Fall In Time’ are proof that the challenge has been met!
