Two-time Juno and Polaris Prize nominee, Canadian soul star Tanika Charles unveils her new album Reasons To Stay on the Record Kicks label. Reasons To Stay is Tanika Charles' fourth album, and her most introspective to date. While her songs generally spoke of love and heartbreak, this album focuses on family and grief. Most of the album was composed by Tanika with the close-knit team of Scott McCannell (Lydia Persaud, Henry Nozuka), Kyla Charter (Aysanabee) and Chino de Villa (Jessie Reyez). Kelly Finnigan of The Monophonics joined the team to mix most of the project and apply the signature analog grit to Tanika's brilliance.
