Description

This album shows how prayer at Taizé is constantly renewed while maintaining consistent foundations over the years. Many of the songs presented here are new: composed by the brothers of Taizé between 2012 and 2017, they are recorded here for the first time. Others have been part of the community's prayer for years. A few come from a more ancient tradition, such as the hymn for 17th-century German evangelical churches and a litany based on antiphons from the very old tradition of the Church.
