Description

« 1990, Hélène Labarrière and Sylvain Kassap meet musically within the Montreuil collective "Incidence". Since then, they have been playing together. In duo, in trio, in quartet, in orchestra, in France, abroad… All occasions are good to meet and converse, to tell (each other) stories, to listen and comment on the world around us… A fusion between the sound of the double bass and that of the clarinets is born from this complicity.
One of those conversations that one follows with a passionate curiosity for the slightest digressions, tensions, paroxysms, allusions, quotes. The subjects are serious, cheerful, nostalgic, even painful and sometimes mixed, but the density of the exchange is constant. To the point that bodies and words, like virtual objects or "ghosts", seem to emerge from the magma, from the fire of dialogue.
