In 1970, soul singer Jerry Williams Jr., frustrated by the politics of the music industry, decided to completely change his career. He then created the character of Swamp Dogg, an irreverent anti-hero ready to destroy the conventions of commercial R&B. His first album as Swamp Dogg is called Total Destruction to Your Mind, inspired by the revolutionary politics of the 60s as much as by the psychedelic drugs of the same era, and is the opposite of the pop songs sung by Williams until then. A choice he has never regretted. Today, almost fifty years after his first album, Swamp Dogg is about to reinvent himself once again. On his new album, Love, Loss and Auto-Tune, the musician's soul is confronted with 21st-century production techniques.
