Five years after the enigmatic Phylax Society, the eternal sonic wanderer Sutja Gutierrez returns with Asystole Flatline, a new odyssey to be released this fall on Lumière Noire. Asystole Flatline, an album shaped between Barcelona studios through a process as tactile as it is instinctive, explores raw male vulnerability and the complex emotions surrounding the irrationality behind every heartbreak with brutal honesty. A certain violence permeates the album, an energy that emerges from the frustration of the fatherless man, plagued by insecurity, seeking something unnamed through different relationships. The work unfolds in dreamlike scenes with unexpected twists, revealing voices ranging from raw and saturated to soft whispers. Gutierrez delivers a work that oscillates between worlds - between reverie and vertigo - haunting the border between the end and the future. With Asystole Flatline, Lumière Noire reaffirms its commitment to bold voices, defying genres and conventions. This journey will take on new life on stage this fall with a rare live performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, as part of a Lumière Noire showcase evening organized by Chloé.
