Description

When the anarchopunk spirit of Les Béruriers Noirs meets the boisterous hip hop of the Beastie Boys, it results in Stupeflip. Led by the formidable King Ju (an omnipresent character in this strange universe), MC Salo (a singer with a cavernous voice), and Cadillac (an old madman), this hallucinatory and humorous crew delivers a collage of deranged rock ("Je fume pu d’shit") and muscular rap ("j’refume du shit," "L’Épouvantable Épouvantail"). An inevitably explosive and completely crazy mix released in 2003. With this self-titled debut album, Stupeflip burst onto our speakers with a bang. We expected nothing less; the album is now cult.
