Stup Religion is the second album by the group Stupeflip, released on June 14, 2005. It follows the formula of the first album while extending their universe: bad taste humor, provocative riffs, and lyrics that may seem absurd at first glance but often have a hidden meaning. The musical genre of the album is unclassifiable, blending rap, rock, and French variety; the different characters from the group's imaginary universe can also be understood as having different musical tastes. Indeed, the character of Pop Hip is a dissident who wants to create hits and pop songs, while King Ju is a character who seems threatening and is more likely to be found in tracks that mix rap and metal. Stup Religion is unclassifiable but has established itself as a cult album in French rap over the past 15 years.
