Stro Eliot offers us a truly unique interpretation, but does not forget to simultaneously honor the original track.
On this album, the artist draws on different genres: he uses a sample of James Brown's voice in a hip-hop style on the track 'She Made Me Popcorn' (remix of 'Mother Popcorn'); for 'Machine No Make Sex' (remix of 'Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine'), he transforms the original with Afrobeat rhythms and horns, while 'Coal Sweat' (remix of 'Cold Sweat') swirls this 60s hit into an electronic and psychedelic atmosphere.
