Stratovarius – An iconic Symphonic Metal band and one of the most well-known Scandinavian groups in the genre, they have influenced many bands in the Metal scene around the world. The Finns achieved international success with albums like Fourth Dimension (1995), Episode (1996), and the Elements project, Pt. 1 and Elements, Pt. 2 – to name just a few of the band's hits and turning points in their career. In 2009, Polaris marked a new beginning for Stratovarius with the departure of their guitarist and leader Timo Tolkki. Seven years after their last album Eternal, Stratovarius once again proves its iconic status in the Metal scene by returning with a powerful album.
