The sound braka

A journey to the edges of jazz, improvised music, and the world. Multi-instrumentalist, improviser, and beatboxer, Stracho Temelkovski offers us music that oozes the Balkans, the Mediterranean, and the Orient, both near and far, as well as the suburbs of Buenos Aires. The Sound Braka is its quintessence, the result of a true maturation process taking its current form during a creation residency at the Opéra de Lyon in May 2018, where Stracho invites his "brothers in sound," all virtuosos and accomplices, to create together a unique repertoire. Coming from a Macedonian family, originally from Grenoble, Stracho Temelkovski builds his musical journey through collaborations (Gnawa Diffusion, Antonio Placer, Omar Sosa...), ultimately offering a unique music that enhances both the heritage of oral popular cultures and scholarly cultures.
