An ultra-raw, ultra-primitive funk, infused with the characteristic elements of Ohio funky soul. On side A, "Hell Below," a cover of Curtis Mayfield's classic, draws more from the East Of Underground version, with a frantic tempo and incisive wah-wah guitar. It falls into the category of unleashed funk. On side B, "Free," originally released as a 45 on the obscure Ewing label in 1971, is a record of simply unimaginable rarity.
