Sting is releasing The Last Ship (Expanded Edition), an updated 24-track version of his acclaimed album, including five new recordings: “Island of Souls,” “Shipyard,” “Ship of State (with Renée Fleming),” “If You Ever See Me Talking to a Sailor (with Frances McNamee),” and “O'Brien's Hymn.” The album is being released to coincide with the start of Sting's hit musical The Last Ship's tour, in which he will play the lead role.
