Burt Bacharach is one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century, and he is responsible for a large part of the soundtrack of the sixties with timeless hits like: "What the World Needs Now Is Love," "Walk on By," "I Say a Little Prayer." It is through the lens of jazz and sophistication that Franco-American singer Stephy Haik pays a vibrant and delicate tribute to him. She manages to highlight the melodic richness of this repertoire, one of the most fabulous in pop music. Jean-Claude Ghrenassia, the album's producer, brings together a true all-star cast of musicians around the singer. The arrangements and orchestral direction are handled by Olivier Hutman, who provides Stephy Haik with a fantastic setting in which her celestial grace can fully express itself.
