With a recording career stretching back to 1991, Ståle Storløkken (born 1969) is one of the most prolific and eclectic figures in Norwegian jazz and experimental music. He has long-standing musical relationships with many artists, from Terje Rypdal and Arve Henriksen to the groups Supersilent, Motorpsycho and Elephant9. The renowned composer and keyboardist Ståle Storløkken follows up his previous Hubro album (and his first solo recording), The Haze of Sleeplessness, with this second solo album, played entirely on pipe organ and recorded in Steinkjer Church by Stian Westerhus.
