The Brazilian thrash metal band represents one of the most renowned acts, their eclectic sound having allowed them to travel all over the world. Thrash metal, nu metal, groove, and Brazilian rhythms have managed to win over millions of fans. In 1998, Soulfly took a turn and became a completely new band. They played their very first concert in May 1998, at Dynamo Open Air, the biggest metal event of those years in the Netherlands. During this show, Soulfly performed songs from their first album, as well as Sepultura classics like Beneath The Remains and Roots Bloody Roots. Many guests were present, such as Chino Moreno (Deftones) and Benji Webbe (Skindred). This live recording represents a fantastic opportunity to discover the legendary history of Soulfly, going back to its beginnings in 1998.
