The Brazilian thrash metal band is one of the most renowned groups, their eclectic sound having allowed them to travel all over the world. Thrash metal, nu metal, groove, and Brazilian rhythms have managed to conquer millions of fans. In 1998, Soulfly took a turn and became a completely new band. They played their very first concert in May 1998 at Dynamo Open Air, the biggest metal event of those years in the Netherlands. During this show, Soulfly performed songs from their first album, as well as Sepultura classics like Beneath The Remains and Roots Bloody Roots. Many guests were present, such as Chino Moreno (Deftones) and Benji Webbe (Skindred). This live performance represents a fantastic opportunity to discover the legendary history of Soulfly, going back to its beginnings in 1998.
