CASEY SWITCHES TO AUSGANG MODE. After two solo albums unlike any other, multiple collaborations (Asocial Club, Zone libre...), theatrical detours, or appearing in "Viril" (with B.Dalle and V.Despentes), Casey returns to her first loves, rap/rock. She was expected to deliver: with 'AUSGANG', she blows the circuit apart. Backed by Marc Sens on guitar/bass, Manusound on machines/bass, and Sonny Troupé on drums, the group strips everything down, a concentrate of rage, black humor, heavy sounds but also wickedly refreshing electro. Casey at the peak of her art in terms of lyrics/flow, you come out of it drained, like new. If the 'AUSGANG' project had been in the works for a while, the least we can say is that it was worth waiting for the deluge. Of fire. A fierce joy, a huge sound, a jubilant dark word that makes you want to die laughing as much as to cry silk over all this beauty ("Comme une ombre"...). We find there Casey's ferocity present on her rap albums or in her collective projects, but also more personal compositions. Finally, Ausgang is above all a band. If "Zone libre" had shown the way (with Marc Sens already on guitar), Manusound (machines) and Sonny Troupé (drums) bring a new breath, variations, a bright light at the end of the tunnel. Power cannot be counted, but count on that of 'Ausgang' to revive your senses. Your ears, your bodies, everything that resonates in us. 'Ausgang' took a long time to take up arms, but in the end of the sending, it hits."Casey is to rap what the cloth soaked in gasoline is to the Molotov cocktail. Something explosive and burning, sometimes unstable but just as disturbing. There are the solo albums (release the beast!), the collaborative projects (with Asocial Club and especially Zone Libre), and Casey has never abandoned the stage. Whether with different artists met throughout Casey's career or comrades in struggle crossed on the road, the Parisian rapper has toured less in recent years than before but to come back better... 2020 will mean something else. Not necessarily like a new beginning but rather a return to fundamentals. A sticky rap, a raging rock, beats that stain. In short, a screaming mix. To achieve this, Casey formed a new pack. A pack with long teeth sharpened like razor blades. Ausgang. New project for a new band, then, with a brand-new album to wrap it all up. "Gangrène". Yes, of course, this record could only be called that. For the alchemy to work, Casey surrounded herself with one of the sidekicks from the Zone Libre team, Marc Sens, who therefore takes up his guitar and bass again for this new adventure. Then we find Manusound on machines as well as Sonny Troupé on drums. A brand-new line-up for an atmosphere that promises to be scorching!
