Saigon Supersound Volume 2

Description

Saigon Supersound continues to showcase even more gems from a long-overlooked musical era. After a well-received Volume 1, we are excited to dig deeper and share with you beautiful tracks from a short but significant period in Vietnam's history; born from the blend of Southern music inspired by American troops who brought Bob Dylan, the Beatles, and others like Jimi Hendrix, and the traditional, socialist, and patriotic music of the North. It is the meeting of these stories that forged a unique musical identity for Vietnamese musicians of that time.
