Embers Beget The Divine

Even if you are not familiar with Solar Temple or Dead Neanderthals, it is very likely that you know the other bands of its members: Fluisteraars, Dool, MNHM, or Plague Organ, to name just a few. Together, Solar Temple and Dead Neanderthals have created their own blend of krautrock black metal that is unlike anything else—trance-inducing, primitive, and beautiful. At the end of 2021, two pillars of the Dutch underground scene—the atmospheric black metal band Solar Temple and the experimental powerhouse Dead Neanderthals—decided to team up and write an album together. In the months that followed, they worked hard on three long compositions that perfectly represented the collaboration of the two bands. Elements of black metal, psychedelic rock, and krautrock were at the heart of the music, a heart that was filled with life at the Roadburn Festival 2022, where the bands performed and recorded Embers Beget the Divine. The album was mixed by guitarist/vocalist Omar Kleiss and mastered by Greg Chandler.
